We now offer Telemedicine!

At Southeast Medical Clinic we are committed to caring for your health during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

We are very excited to announce that we are now providing telehealth services.  In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic we are offering telehealth visits for most medical conditions. Having a “virtual” visit from the comfort of your home is a great way to provide treatment and keep you safe.  Our providers will do a consultation via your smartphone and bill the visit to your medical insurance, just like a standard in-person visit to our office.  Many insurers are waiving co-pays for telehealth services at this time.

For patients who still need to be seen in person our office remains open; please refer to our website for current office hours.

Give us a call or message us through the patient portal or healow app todayAll we need is a brief description of the issue you’re experiencing to determine if a telehealth visit is appropriate.

FAQs

What if I’m not a current patient of your practice?

We are accepting some new patients.  Call our office to find out if you are eligible for a new patient telehealth visit.

How will I talk to the doctor during this visit?

A smartphone with a camera is required to complete this consultation with our providers. You must download the healow app from the app store and add our clinic. The appointment and time will show up on the secure app. Click on the appointment at your appointment time and the provider will join you shortly. If you do not have access to a smartphone we suggest working with a friend or family member you may be with at this time.

 What if I don’t have a smartphone?
If you do not have access to a phone, our team will share the details of your complaint to the provider on call for their opinion on recommended next steps.

I notice your office is open a few hours a day. Can I just walk in to see a doctor?
Our preferred method of treatment at this time is via a telehealth consultation with one of our providers. Not every condition can be treated in this way, though, and your provider may recommend you visit our office during our current office hours for further treatment. Our goal is to treat you as safely as possible, following CDC recommended social distancing guidelines. If your condition requires in-person care we would prefer to see you in our office versus suggesting a visit to a busy urgent care or emergency room.

There are many ways to initiate your visit.  The easiest is through using the link we send you in a text or email.  If you use that link you do not need to know any passwords.   You can also download our healow app on your phone or use our patient portal on your computer if you have a microphone and camera.  These options will allow you to communicate with our office through messaging and view your medical record including lab results, medications and referral information.  Click on the links below to find out more.
